OFFICE OF INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION
AND ENTERPRISE RELATIONS
- Introduction
The Office of International Cooperation and Enterprise Relations, formerly known as the Office of International Cooperation, was established in June, 2011 with the mission of promoting and implementing the University’s international cooperation activities. On October 21, 2016, the Office had its name changed to the Office of International Cooperation and Enterprise Relations under the Decision No. 2403 / QD-DHSG-TCCB by the Rector of Saigon University, with the additional function of enterprise cooperation in order to comply with the orientation and development of the University.
- Functions and duties
- International cooperation functions
Organizing the implementation of international cooperation programs and activities related to foreign participations.
Duties:
- Developing plans for international cooperation, international integration, coordinating and managing the international cooperation activities of the University;
- Calling for, mobilizing aids and developing international cooperation projects;
- Negotiating and signing the international cooperation agreements;
- Receiving international guests, managing international delegations working with Saigon University and its affiliated divisions;
- Managing the University’s delegations on business trips and overseas study;
- Organizing the implementation of joint training programs with other countries.
- Enterprise relations functions
Organizing the implementation of cooperation activities among universities, enterprises, and society.
Duties:
- Mobilizing funds to support students and other activities of the University;
- Collaborating with businesses, agencies and organizations in supporting internships and job placement for students;
- Organizing short-term professional training programs in the fields of the University’s advantages;
- Implementing science and technology application services to meet social needs;
- Implementing commercialization of the University’s scientific research products.
