OFFICE OF SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH AFFAIRS
- Introduction:
The Office of Scientific Research Affairs is the functional division in charge of managing and organizing scientific and technological research activities. In cooperation with the internal and external divisions, the office has improved scientific and technological cooperation to enhance the quality of scientific research and the applicability of science and technology to students and lecturers.
- Functions and missions
Functions
- Acting as a counsellor for the University Management Board about implementing the management, organization and development of scientific and technological activities generally and cooperation activities with domestic and foreign divisions in particular.
Missions
- Developing plans and strategies for the University’s science and technology.
- Managing and developing scientific and technology activities of lectures and learners in the University including appraisal and assessment for research works; organizing the participation of domestic scientific and technological awards, giving instructions about copyrights and ownership of technology; guiding and monitoring external scientific and technological duties.
- Coordinating with divisions inside and outside to organize scientific conferences at all levels.
- Being a liaison to cooperate on science and technology research with universities, institutes, and businesses; reinforcing the search for research projects ordered, funded, or cooperated by foreign and non-governmental organizations with international scientists.
- Supporting faculties to build potential and well-qualified research groups.
