SAIGON UNIVERSITY SIGNS A MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT WITH THE INSTITUTE OF INTERNATIONAL STUDIES, AUSTRALIA (TIIS)
On 13 August 2026, Saigon University hosted a Memorandum of Agreement Signing Ceremony with The Institute of International Studies, Australia (TIIS), marking a new milestone in the cooperation between the two institutions in the fields of education, training, and research.

The ceremony was attended by representatives from The Institute of International Studies (TIIS), including Professor Anand Karuppiah, CEO of The Institute of International Studies; Mr. Nguyen Ba Dat, Director of the Institute of Promotion of Education Development (IPED) – representative of TIIS in Vietnam; Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Huong – Manager of IPED in Ho Chi Minh City; and Ms. Tran Thi Hoai Thuong – Program Advisory Team Leader.
Representing Saigon University were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Minh Triet, Vice Rector of Saigon University; Mr. Le Khoa Huan, Director of the International Cooperation and Training Center; and Mr. Luong Duy Binh, Deputy Director of the International Cooperation and Training Center.

The two institutions discuss cooperation opportunities
and the development of Joint Training Programs
During the working session, representatives of both institutions discussed strategic directions for cooperation, drawing on the respective strengths and expertise of each institution. The initial focus will be on the development and implementation of international joint training programs, particularly the Bachelor of Information Technology and Bachelor of Business programs.
Designed in accordance with international standards, these programs aim to provide students with a modern learning environment, enhance their professional competencies, and expand their opportunities for further study and employment both in Vietnam and internationally. In addition, the two institutions agreed to promote cooperation in curriculum development, the sharing of academic resources and teaching materials, scientific research, and the expansion of international training programs in the future.

The Agreement Signing Ceremony was held in a formal atmosphere, reaffirming the commitment of Saigon University and The Institute of International Studies (TIIS) to building a sustainable partnership, contributing to the enhancement of education and training quality, promoting the internationalization of education, and creating greater opportunities for learners to pursue their studies and personal development.
