WILLIAM ANGLISS INSTITUTE (AUSTRALIA)
HAD A WORKING VISIT TO SAIGON UNIVERSITY
On September 16, 2025, Saigon University welcomed a delegation from William Angliss Institute (Australia) for a visit and working session. Representing William Angliss Institute were Mr. Wayne Crosbie – Director of International and Business Development, and Mr. Ray Petts – Regional Business Development Manager for Asia.
From Saigon University, the meeting was attended by Assoc. Prof. Le Minh Triet – Vice Rector, and Mr. Le Khoa Huan – Director of the International Training and Cooperation Center.
Also present at the session was Mr. Anthony Khoa Phan, Founder of the Vietnam–Australia Startups and Innovation Association, who has made significant contributions to fostering educational collaboration programs between the two countries.
During the meeting, both parties discussed potential cooperation programs in the fields of Hospitality and Tourism, such as developing short-term training courses and international internship programs in Australia to help students improve their professional skills, language abilities, and gain practical experience in a global tourism environment; collaborating in research and academic exchange of scholars and lecturers, especially in areas such as sustainable tourism development, service innovation, and customer experience management.
Both sides agreed to continue working together in detail to develop a long-term strategic cooperation roadmap, aiming to position Saigon University as one of Vietnam’s leading institutions for high-quality human resource training in Tourism – Hospitality – Restaurant Management, while expanding the international cooperation network between Vietnam and Australia.
The meeting took place in a warm, open, and productive atmosphere, opening up many new prospects for future collaboration in education, training, and research between the two institutions.
